“The Dangers of Humanism”

To understand the dangers of Humanism we must first understand what Humanism is. Wikipedia defines Humanism as “a broad category of ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appealing to universal human qualities, particularly rationalitiy, without resorting to the supernatural or alleged divine authority from religious texts. It is a component of a variety of more specific philosophical systems. Humanism can be considered as a process by which truth and morality is sought through human investigation and as such views on morals can change when new knowledge and information is discovered. In focusing on the capacity for self-determination, humanism rejects transcendental justifications, such as a dependence on belief without reason, the supernatural, or texts of allegedly divine origin. Humanists endorse universal morality based on the commonality of the human condition, suggesting that solutions to human social and cultural problems cannot be parochial.” Humanism at it’s core root is the spirit of the antichrist. The spirit of the antichrist wants to put itself in the place of God or anything else that proclaims to be god. Many Humanist feel they receive a “revelation” of it. Let’s take Robert G. Ingerscroll for example, “When I became convinced that the universe is natural, that all the ghosts and gods are myths, there entered into my brain, into my soul, into every drop of my blood the sense, the feeling, the joy of freedom. The walls of my prison crumbled and fell. The dungeon was flooded with light and all the bolts and bars and manacles became dust. I was no longer a servant, a serf, or a slave. There was for me no master in all the wide world, not even in infinite space. I was free–free to think, to express my thoughts–free to live my own ideal, free to live for myself and those I loved, free to use all my faculties, all my senses, free to spread imagination’s wings, free to investigate, to guess and dream and hope, free to judge and determine for myself . . . I was free! I stood erect and fearlessly, joyously faced all worlds.”

To which is enough to make a Humanist proclaim “Hallelujah” states Frederick Edwards the executive director of the American Humanist Association. We can see the root of Humanism played in Satan in Isaiah 14:13-14 “13 And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north. 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Satan wanted from the beginning to be God. He wanted to exalt himself as God. This is the root of Humanism. I think it no coincidence that the hill that Christ died on Golgotha means Skull hill. Christ was crucified on the mind of man.

The reason why Humanism is so dangerous is because it’s hard to see and most people will never see it because of there deception. The scariest part of deception is that you don’t know that you’re deceived. Humanism has slowly crept into almost and if not every facet of society from education to politics to even our churches.
