Justice House of Prayer San Diego is coming up on its five year anniversary, which is truly an amazing accomplishment, and a tribute to the grace of God on this ministry. God truly is our provider and sustainer. After five years of Justice House of Prayer being birthed and beginning to come into its fullness, we are extremely grateful for everyone who has helped. We have seen many come and go, each individual leaving another stone in place to build this family, this ministry truly has been about living stones, and we couldn’t have made it this far with out all of your help. We are beyond grateful to God for all of our incredible friends and family that have come together to make this dream possible. As of late, we in Justice House of Prayer San Diego have begun to feel as if we have the greatest friends and family in the world.

In 2010 Justice House of Prayer San Diego is looking for the family of God to help come alongside of us and run with us again to impact San Diego, Southern California, this nation and all of the nations of the earth. We have spent the last five years fervently praying, discipling, studying the word, preaching, and gathering information, what an amazing journey it has been. When we all started out on this journey, none of us could have dreamed or imagined what God would have had in store for us. Now we are looking at the next five years and asking God what he has in store for us, and we are recognizing the most important aspect is not a ministry or a movement, but it is a family, the family of God. There are greater things yet to come, and we want and desire to do it together with you.

The last five years we have ministered to literally hundreds of thousands of people, and have so many testimonies, it could fill a small library. We know that out of this God has built a city whose builder and make is God, he has built a family around us that believes in the vision that God has given us, and we are asking for your help to step into this next year and continue to do what God has called us to. We are asking if you would once again consider giving to the cause of a day and night cry for justice in the earth (Luke 18). Whether that is through your time, talents, or treasure, we know that there is always enough. Even in what looks like political and economic upheaval, God will find a people who sings, “It is well with my soul.” Because the Lord is their provider and abundance is their portion.

Specifically we are starting the 10×10 in 2010 campaign. We believe God for 1000 people to commit to give 10 dollars a month to what God is doing through this family called the Justice House of Prayer San Diego. We have labored to be a community that “gives to whoever has need.” And in order to see this dream accomplished we are asking for the extravagant giving that accompanied this mandated in Acts 2 of giving to whoever has need. We are not asking for you to give to a building fund or a ministry of programs, we are asking that you would consider giving to a family, a family you are part of, and a family you benefit from. Thank God again for all that you have done, are doing, and will do. May this be the most incredible year of friendship with God and the restoration of family?

The Fellowship of the Believers
Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Sharing in All Things
Acts 4:32-37

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

Love Your Neighbor
Romans 13:8 “Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.”

The most important commodity in the Kingdom of heaven is love. The commodity is a sacrificial love, a servant love, a covenant love. The currency of heaven is love. There is a labor of love that far surpasses the labor of the dollar bill. Imagine a community that stopped and helped those broken on the side of the road not because of what they were going to get out of it, not because of what that person could do for them, but because of compassion and love. This is what Jesus modeled. This love is what was turning the world right side up in the early Church. It was the Ekklesia, the city whose builder and maker is God. This love is what was crushing the government’s financial tyranny and massive taxation; this love is what was liberating the Jewish people. Jesus, the King of Kings, came to bring an entirely different economy on the earth that was far superior to the economy of Caesar.

There is slavery to mammon, materialism and the dollar bill. However, Jesus brought us true riches which are far superior to the dollar bill. These are spiritual riches and we have to have spiritual eyes to see them. Jesus said that if you seek first the Kingdom and all its righteousness, then all the material resources you need will be added unto you. This is an absolutely true statement, not a debatable hypothesis. Jesus said, “Don’t worry about tomorrow, for today has enough concerns of its own.” Many in today’s global economy cannot fathom an economy that would allow us to focus on the problems of today without worrying about tomorrow. Many are paralyzed by the fear of tomorrow, which leaves them utterly ineffective today.

Right now socialism/communism is on the rise again. This is a perversion of the Acts 2 community, and man’s attempt to once again fulfill God’s word apart from Christ. A communist was once asked, “Why has communism always failed?” and he answered, “Because we have always given out of our lack.” What a statement! However, it failed not because they lacked material wealth but because they lacked the spiritual riches of love, mercy, and compassion. The materialistic Marxist philosophies are defenseless and impotent to cure the disease of sin. Our nature must be changed and we must be born again into an entirely new way of thinking and living. Communism is powerless to change the heart. Christ and Christ alone has the monopoly of love, and the Church is the expression and administration of this love on earth.

What does this look like? The administration of love looks like the restoration of the family, the family of God. It looks like a family that is functional, a family that doesn’t function off of greed, manipulation, and control, but governs itself as a loving father would his obedient son, and a sacrificial bridegroom would govern a humble, loving bride. The family would be made out of mechanics, carpenters, electricians, prophets, healers, teachers, cooks and much more. All would function and serve out of passion, love and compassion for God, not greed and the love of money. Some may say I am a dreamer, but I am not the only one. There is a revolution happening:a revolution of love, a revolution of family, a revolution of Eden- a city whose builder and maker is God. You are invited and needed, not because of your abilities or your gifting, but you are invited because you are loved.

Justice House of Prayer has testimony after testimony of how those who have lived and are living in Justice House of Prayer San Diego have touched and impacted individual lives, Churches, communities, cities, even states and nations. In the last five years we have seen people give their lives to Jesus, physical spiritual and emotional healing, spiritual climates shift over regions and cities, and our prayers become national headlines. All those who are full time prayer missionaries in Justice House of Prayer San Diego are more than willing to go and get secular jobs if need be, but believe and recognize that we would be most effective giving our full attention to the reading of the word, praying, and preaching. Would you pray about how you could help further the impact of Justice House of Prayer San Diego by your friendship and support?

We are not asking you to give to a building fund or a movement. We are asking you to give to a family, a family that you are part of and benefit from. In your giving, most if not all of what you give will go directly to help give food, housing and basic needs for the intercessory missionary team. We believe in investing in people above all else. We would rather allow ten to fifty young people run with day and night prayer, studying the word, and preaching the gospel, than fund a large building project. Someday we would love to have a corporate meeting place, but our top priority is making sure the temples of the living God, our bodies, are sustained.

Last year God began to birth a new model of a missions base in our hearts. We went away from the corporate internship model and went instead to the relational covenant model. We began to run full time with those who were called by God, and were absolutely confident in that calling. In that process God surrounded us in Justice House of Prayer with some of the most dangerous preachers and intercessors against the enemy’s schemes. Justice House of Prayer is set up with both full time missionaries and market place missionaries, both of which are vitally important to God and His mission in the earth. For more information on our amazing family of full time staff check out JHOPSD Staff (Click Here http://www.jhopsd.com/staff.html)

Justice House of Prayer San Diego exists to raise up a house of Prayer that contends with every other house that challenges the Lordship and supremacy of Christ over all human affairs. Our desire is to fulfill the heart of God for the Father’s house to be called a House of Prayer for all nations, that our hearts would become the temple of the living God. The foundation of God’s throne is established on righteousness and justice and we desire to see this throne established on the praises of men in the earth. Through acts of justice, prayers of justice, and righteous lives lived out. Our mission is out of this place of prayer, we would hear the voice of God and be obedient to fulfill the great commission to become faithful witnesses touching our generation with the love and wisdom of God.
