10 X 10 Campaign
Justice House of Prayer San Diego is coming up on its five year anniversary, which is truly an amazing accomplishment, and a tribute to the grace of God on this ministry. God truly is our provider and sustainer. After five years of Justice House of Prayer being birthed and beginning to come into its fullness, we are extremely grateful for everyone who has helped. We have seen many come and go, each individual leaving another stone in place to build this family, this ministry truly has been about living stones, and we couldn’t have made it this far with out all of your help. We are beyond grateful to God for all of our incredible friends and family that have come together to make this dream possible. As of late, we in Justice House of Prayer San Diego have begun to feel as if we have the greatest friends and family in the world.
In 2010 Justice House of Prayer San Diego is looking for the family of God to help come alongside of us and run with us again to impact San Diego, Southern California, this nation and all of the nations of the earth. We have spent the last five years fervently praying, discipling, studying the word, preaching, and gathering information, what an amazing journey it has been. When we all started out on this journey, none of us could have dreamed or imagined what God would have had in store for us. Now we are looking at the next five years and asking God what he has in store for us, and we are recognizing the most important aspect is not a ministry or a movement, but it is a family, the family of God. There are greater things yet to come, and we want and desire to do it together with you.
The last five years we have ministered to literally hundreds of thousands of people, and have so many testimonies, it could fill a small library. We know that out of this God has built a city whose builder and make is God, he has built a family around us that believes in the vision that God has given us, and we are asking for your help to step into this next year and continue to do what God has called us to. We are asking if you would once again consider giving to the cause of a day and night cry for justice in the earth (Luke 18). Whether that is through your time, talents, or treasure, we know that there is always enough. Even in what looks like political and economic upheaval, God will find a people who sings, “It is well with my soul.” Because the Lord is their provider and abundance is their portion.
Specifically we are starting the 10×10 in 2010 campaign. We believe God for 1000 people to commit to give 10 dollars a month to what God is doing through this family called the Justice House of Prayer San Diego. We have labored to be a community that “gives to whoever has need.” And in order to see this dream accomplished we are asking for the extravagant giving that accompanied this mandated in Acts 2 of giving to whoever has need. We are not asking for you to give to a building fund or a ministry of programs, we are asking that you would consider giving to a family, a family you are part of, and a family you benefit from. Thank God again for all that you have done, are doing, and will do. May this be the most incredible year of friendship with God and the restoration of family?
The Fellowship of the Believers
Acts 2:42-47
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Sharing in All Things
Acts 4:32-37
Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
